Hi! I’m Crystal. I am entering Year #3 as a person living with Type 1 Diabetes.
I acquired Type 1 Diabetes as an adult and even though it changed a lot in my life, it changed a lot for the better!
I love fishing and golfing with my son, lifting weights with my CrossFit Family, woodworking, and being outside enjoying the sunshine and beauty of nature.
I chose to write about Type 1 Diabetes after I struggled to find books to learn more. I truly hope that even one story can help someone else along their journey. Writing is also a way for me to embrace my new life and learn to be strong and confident living with Type 1 Diabetes.
Type 1 Diabetes won’t stop me from being me, in fact, it’s made me stronger, happier, and more creative!
We can get through the hard days, one day at a time!
